It All Depends on Who You KNOW!

It is mornings like this that I reflect upon all the incredible truths I have learned over the course of the last few years. I cannot imagine having to face the things I face each and every day without having found my unmovable faith in all I have learned, in who I KNOW.

In life, there are moments when we ask ourselves some big questions. We've finally arrived at a space in time where we seek truth in regards to what life is all about. We question why things are going the way they are. We wonder if it will ever change or get better. We think, 'What is the point?' or 'What on earth can I do?' and even bigger, 'Where do I have left to turn?'

I was in that space in time just over 7 years ago. As my mind raced through many of these questions, my heart landed on exactly who I needed to have a conversation with. I knew right then that only God could help me walk beyond where I was. I didn't call Him Father that day. I did not see or think of Him in that way. Knowing God as Father is truly life changing. A lot of the people turn to God in a day, but not many see Him as their Father.

Many would agree that this world is broken in many ways. In the word of God we discover that when man fell, he took all creation on earth with him. Genesis paints a picture of beauty and it is only after the fall that we are introduced to thorns, thistles, toil and pain.

I'm taking an environmental science class this semester and I ran across this quote the other day:

"When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe."

John Muir.

This is the very reason that our sin affected everything else in the world. That in itself is kind of a depressing thought. One must ponder, "How do we get back to the way things were before the fall?"

That information is also in the Bible. Some try to say that Science and the Bible don't match up, but the more I study all the subjects of the world, the more I find the Bible to be sound. If I want truth, the word of God is my number one source.

One truth that is undeniable is that we all have the same enemy here on earth. He has been here for a very long time. So long in fact that in the word of God, we are introduced to Him in Volume I, chapter 3; the early days of Adam and Eve. In chapter four, we discover that he toyed with their first child and caused him to turn his ears off to God and the end result of that action was murder.

This enemy's goal to this very day is to 'steal, kill and destroy'. He resents humanity. The good news is, all humanity has a way in which to overcome this enemy, to live abundantly here on earth and in the end live eternally the way God intended for us to live all along. You must discover the truth in Christ Jesus and accept Him as your LORD and Savior.

Some instantly hear the call and feel the truth resonate inside of them. Others, like me, hesitantly take steps forward in the knowledge of this truth. We don't want to be tricked into believing and trusting in what we are not certain of. I guess in a very real way, we have that in common with the one who is referred to as 'doubting Thomas'.

Interestingly enough, it was in my pursuit of wisdom in regards to my life, and a desire to be forgiven for my past that I can't even put into words that drove me to seek the big answer; 'Is Jesus Christ truly the only begotten son of God, was He sent to save me, and am I saveable?'

When you read my life story, you see it was a journey for me and not a leap of faith. I KNOW God today. I am able to trust in Him. I know His plans for me are good. This knowledge is part of what protects me from the ploys and attacks of the enemy.

If you long for an abundant life but don't know where to begin, I pray you purchase my life story for a measly $3.99 and begin your own journey today.

Father, I am so thankful for your rest in the midst of my most chaotic life. I could not walk this path in joy without you. The difference of life before truly knowing You and after are literally night and day. So much in your word tells us this will be the case. I pray more seek this truth for themselves. May the story you put on my heart to share with the world be read by all who stumble upon this blog today and tomorrow and all the days to come. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.

The Only Way to Win!

Today is January 16, 2017. According to my Renew Your Mind Calendar, it is Marvelously Magnificent Miraculous Monday! Today I am so thankful that I can discern a spiritual attack when it is coming full force at me. To say that last week had some brutal battles in it would be an understatement.

I can not imagine how things might have gone down did I not know that I am forgiven, that I am a saint, that the father of lies is our biggest accuser. He used to come at me in thoughts, referred to as flaming arrows in Scripture. I carried around so much regret and guilt that I was like a puppet in his hands. That very thing is what drives me to share the message of grace, the gospel of peace and hope with others. I once was literally a slave to the evil one, I allowed myself to be bound by all my mistakes. This is not the life that God intended us to live. Far from it!

Through my walk with God and as I became acquainted with Christ, the evil one changed the battle strategy against me. Now that he could not directly convince me that his lies were real, He came at me in my dreams. He has dragged me to court and so much more. As I faced each battle, I never forgot where my strength came from. This is not to say that I did not cry or fall to my knees multiple times. The battle is real. Don't think it is not. It's why so many find themselves trapped in depression at times so deeply that suicide appears to be the only way out.

Another way that the evil one comes at you in battle is through loved ones; those best able to make a chink in your armor. I have said it before, "If you are not a warrior for Christ Jesus, then you are a moveable pawn for the evil one."

In waves over the course of the last two and a half years, the evil one has used a particular person more than all others combined against me. Yesterday the battle climaxed having begun days prior. It is to date one of the worst that I have been dragged into. I went to church and asked for prayers; I understand the power of them. It is why it is so important to surround yourself with fellow believers. The enemy loves nothing more than to seclude you. There will be times in your life where you need the prayers of others, it does something that nothing else does.

After church, the assault reared its ugly head again. It was as if it was making one final effort, but I had gone to my source of strength; I had stoked my own fire. I had brothers and sisters in faith praying over me, I was being encircled with a field of protection so great that it forced all negativity and noise right out of my life literally.

Within four hours of leaving church, I found myself completely alone with God. Every single distraction had been removed. It was in all essence, heaven. I sat and pondered on God and just how incredible He is.

Yes, there is an enemy to humanity in this world. Yes, He seeks to steal, kill and destroy. But He who is in me is greater than He who is in the world!

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." (John 10:10, NASB)

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.  You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (John 4:1-4, NASB)

Today, I encourage you to seek the one who can truly protect you from the evil one and all his ploys to destroy you. The world is growing colder and darker. Evil is amping. It has worked long and hard to take out those who love the LORD. I know he is coming after me because of the current book I am working on. He seeks to shut down anyone who is fighting to wake up their fallen brothers and sisters. The harder he comes at me, the more I lean on the LORD, the more I see His power is indeed greater, the more bold I become in proclaiming the good news. What he means for evil, my Father in heaven will use for good. I've seen this promise come to fruition time and time again.

Recently, I have been gifting an electronic version of my book to someone each week. The messages I have gotten back are blessings of encouragement to keep sharing all God reveals to me. If you think you might be in a battle and are seeking a movie or a good book that might remove the clouds of darkness but for even a moment, one that might perhaps even leave you wiser to the evil one and just how powerful our God is, then please treat yourself to my story. It's only $3.99 and you can download it today by clicking here.

Father, thank you for your protection and provision. You truly amaze me and I am forever grateful. I pray that more and more come to know you the way I do. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Keep On Keeping On!

Jesus Christ revealed to the people of his day how to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father.
We are blessed to have those moments; that advice to look back upon through the gospels.

One such example, would be this:

Think of a time when you had a great interest in someone. You sought to know them better. In today's world you might search the internet to see what you could learn about them. With each little tidbit of information, your curiosity and interest grows pushing you to seek to truly get to know them. You step boldly forward and start up a true personal relationship. Day by day, you take the time to invest into your relationship with them. This is a natural process is it not?

With that in mind, it only makes sense that in order to have a personal relationship with God, one must take the time each day to draw near to Him. This is exactly why Jesus point to this truth in the gospels. How can you honestly believe you could ever know God on a person level if you aren't willing to set aside a little time to spend with Him each and every day? I promise you this, you will find no better friend here on earth!

With time, you will discover that God is faithful, He is true. You gain wisdom and understand in a deeper way that we live in a fallen world, but this life is just a blip on the radar. It can at time seem overwhelming and like it is everything especially in the face of death, but I promise that is not the case. We are here but for a moment, but there is a true and very real promise of more days to come. Days without tears and without illness and death; those are the effects of the fall.

God truly loves us so much that He paved a way for us to have more not only after we pass, but in this life as well. You come to learn all this as you come forward seeking, knocking at His door each day.

Today I challenge anyone who has ever had a moment of guilt over something they have said or done in this life. That guilt is acknowledgement that we have sinned. Sin binds us as slaves to the enemy. He uses this guilt in spiritual warfare and the only weapon to completely destroy and wipe away that guilt is to turn to God, admit your guilt, ask for forgiveness and then ask Him to help you walk in His will for your life. I promise you His will is for you to not feel condemned but rather to live an abundant life. The proof is in the Bible!

(John 3:17, NASB): For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

(John 10:10, NASB) "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

You can trust in all that is written about Jesus. You can trust that if you do as He says, we will see things through the spectrum of truth and we will not find ourselves snared in the schemes of the enemy so easily. Despite living in a fallen world, you will have peace and joy come what may and you will truly be able to say, "It is well" through it all!

How can I be so confident? Because I sought, I knocked and I come back each day. I have been witness to countless answered prayers. I have been blessed in the craziest ways. I have seen the glory of God at work. I have heard angels sing. I have heard the audible voice of God.

I often say that I wish I could download all I know about God right into others for then they too would have an unshakable faith in Him. While I can't do that, I have written many of these accounts into one single book entitled "You Are Worthy Too: The Proof is in the Pudding".

This is one of my most recent reviews: "I read 15 pages of your book sis. Its incredible. Wonderful how God plans in our lives I praise God for u sis. When I read your book sis it has really God’s presence sis God using u in His time

Only God could have written my story the way it is written. It is something when your faith is increased by reading your own book. I know God called me forth to write it to help others be freed to live abundantly.

If you are like me and prefer to hold a book in your hands, my print version is available for only $9.99 by clicking here and electronically for only $3.99 by clicking here. May you too find yourself in the presence of God as you read it!

Father today I thank you for always being true to who you are. I am so blessed to have sought and to have continued to seek. I pray that my fellow brothers and sisters seek you out each and every day. Your protection and provision is amazing. I pray they discover this truth as well. May eyes, ears and hearts begin to open up to your wisdom all over the world. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Thoughts Regarding the New Year.

I have often wondered just why we celebrate the 'New Year' in the dead of winter! Along with that I have been curious over the years how Picies, 'The 12th and final sign' according to the Zodiac calendar, falls into the second and third month of our calendar year. In my heart, I believe the 'New Year' should be celebrated sometime near April, when the earth springs back to life.

You'll have to pardon me for often my mind wanders in the craziest of ways, but follow me through this one. April 1st is often dubbed as April fools day. I think the tradition that falls on April 1st is one of the worst ones ever created; a day to make fools of others. To freak out a person by telling a complete lie. It's just not a nice thing to do.

The complete idea of this cruel holiday is to play pranks on loved ones. This idea, encouraged by many makes me uneasy to say the least. I say this because it goes against a wise warning in God's word.

I know in today's world, many mock the Bible. They count it as old and out of date, or they may mumble that it has been over translated, or even that it was written by men and not through and under the authority of God. Heck, there was a time in my life that I never even picked up a Bible let alone wondered what words of wisdom it might hold inside. But, in the last six years, that all dramatically changed.

Now there are five genres of literature in the Bible and the one that I am speaking of today, comes from the genre of wisdom: Proverbs. While proverbs is indeed in the Bible, its author was a respected man of his day sought out for his words of wisdom by those in the world including other kings.

All the earth was seeking the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart. (Kings 10:24, NASB)

And all the kings of the earth were seeking the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart. (2nd Chronicles 9:23, NASB)

Understanding that both of these references stem directly out of the Bible, I am including two links at the end of this post that go to prove archaeologically that King Solomon, King David's son, did indeed exist! These two incredible men were not just characters written about in the Bible, they historically existed thousands of years ago!

So, just what advice did King Solomon give the world in regards to playing jokes on others?

When we pause to reflect beyond our own thoughts of what is funny and what is not, we must realize that this playing of jokes on one another indeed can be dangerous.

As spring approaches this year and the world comes back to life, let us not be a source of evil in the lives of others. Instead, let us reflect on the things we longed for when we celebrated the New Year in January. A more peaceful abundant life should be among these goals.

There is one certain way that we can all gain an abundant life and that is honestly through discovering Christ for ourselves. I don't hold it against anyone with doubts, but when so many make the claim that He is the one who changed their lives for good and you can see that proof in their lives, shouldn't you take the time to invest in your own research?

In a world full of anxiety, fear, worry, depression that fully admits that pharmaceutical medications are nothing more than a bandaid, but far from a cure, what does one have to lose in searching out the Bible for themselves.

When I first began, I had no idea where or how to begin. The Bible is a collection of 66 books that are indeed tied together, something can be gained from each one. I began in Ephesians. It covers a lot in a little book. What do you have to lose? You can even read this book for free over the internet, so in all truth nothing but you is stopping you from checking it out!

Prior to reading this, I suggest you say this simple prayer, "Father, I come before you seeking truth and wisdom. I long for an abundant life, please show me the way. In Jesus name I pray. Amen."

I stand in agreement that all who seek have their eyes, ears and hearts opened to your truths. In Jesus name I pray.
