Scripture: But Lord, be merciful to us, for we have waited for you. Be our strong arm each day and our salvation in times of trouble.
- Isaiah 33:2 (NLT)Me:
God, today I am overwhelmed with tasks that seem to be adding faster than I can cross them off. I forgot to start my day with you, so I am pressing the reset button. I want your joy, your peace and your composure to radiate through me. I want time to stand still or so it seems in order to accomplish much and to accomplish it with ease . . . remind me that with you all things are possible, remove the negative thoughts and emotions from my home and my body. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
I haven't blogged from my heart in almost a year. So much to share, yet unable. Life, the world it hasn't destroyed me ~ that's His promise you know. However, I have not thrived enough to rise to my purpose, just enough . . . impressive in ways, but I know some of what is possible with God if I only take the time to call out to Him. He moves mountains. I don't just utter the words, I have witnessed the supernatural only to me it is the natural . . .
That belief brings me to today. One could say I was nearing a boiling point of rocking the radio tuned into K-Love and stuffing my face into a pillow and screaming. Instead I stopped went onto facebook and prayed the prayer you see above. Mere hours later, Westfield Friends Church members invite us to a table they had set up outside loaded with food and drinks. They had outside toys on hand for the kids to play with. Friendly, funny servants of God sent to offer dinner and activities for the kids next week, Monday through Weds. I had a great time and even shared that I had prayed for exactly what they were offering.
He is AMAZING!
I am refreshed, reminded of His love, His faithfulness. I love Him completely for He saves me in every way possible and in doing so, my heart soars and I am overwhelmed by sheer gratitude.
It is my prayer today that you come to have that with Him as well. It's a REAL game changer. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Wendy, mom of many, friend of God.
